Bitfari has two kinds of ads: community and agency. Community ads are provided to foster collaboration and understanding among neighbors. Agency ads are meant to advance digital marketing by providing tailored ads that maximize conversion and privacy while minimizing expenditure.

Agency ads allow the creation of programmable ads or ads that change according to the person seeing them. Digital billboards realize who is in their vicinity by querying the location pool of users which is updated every 15 minutes. After extracting the location pool, ads can run a probabilistic game and tailor ads to better profit from the group of people visiting the commercial hotspot. The main building blocks of programmable ads are HTML, variables, decision blocks, disclosure matrices and explore lists.
